This ceramics class covers fundamental techniques in both wheel throwing and hand building. Projects include making cylinders, mugs, bowls, and simple sculptures. Basic skills covered will include clay reclaiming, attachments, coil building, slab building, altering forms, marbling clay, surface techniques, underglazing, working with paper clay, and glazing. If there’s a specific skill or project you’d like to improve, this class can be tailored to support your goals.
